ENKA Uniper JV, continues to make rapid progress on the Dradenau Combined Heat and Power Plant project undertaken in 2021! The basic engineering works were completed last year and the detailed engineering works have reached 80% completion rate. In late 2023, one of the Siemens SGT-800 gas turbines and the SST-600 steam turbine were put in place, a major milestone for the project. The second gas turbine will be in place in the first quarter of next year. Throughout 2024, work will be carried out in all areas of construction, mechanical, piping, electrical and structural steelwork. The project is based on 2x2x1 configuration equipped with two Siemens SGT-800 gas turbines, one steam turbine, and two heat recovery steam generators (HRSG) with one additional gas steam generator. When completed, the plant will achieve an electrical output of 180 MW and 260 MW district heating capacity. We congratulate the teams working on the project for the progress they have achieved so far and wish them continued success throughout the project.
